The Learning Pharmacy
“Having worked in a variety of shopper marketing & insight roles within a big corporate environment, I jumped at the opportunity to lead this incredible project. The Learning Pharmacy is open every day of the week (until midnight) dispensing prescriptions and offering the very best in customer service to the local community all the while learning from shoppers and patients on genuine shopping missions. This is truly natural shopping behaviour in a real environment, no virtual reality or claimed or post rationalised responses. And, instead of ad hoc projects on short lead times to answer tactical questions, the pharmacy is a commitment over the long term to truly make a difference.
The Learning Pharmacy began trading on August 18th 2014 in north London. We are busy establishing capabilities and finalising our learning plan as well as reaching out to a huge network of stakeholders from the local community, healthcare providers, our customers, suppliers and industry experts.”

Why join the Omega Pharma Learning Pharmacy team?
You will be a pioneer
There are numerous opportunities to define and design new ways of working, new research methods and new ways of engaging our network of stakeholders. After all, this has never been done before! From sourcing and installing state of the art equipment to integrating multiple data feeds and asking the small and bigger questions facing pharmacy in the right way, there is no doubt you will break new ground.
Your reach will be far and wide, your learning curve steep!
In the first instance, you will connect with the local community in Golders Green. However, beyond that you might be updating the blog, meeting some of the biggest multiple pharmacy chains and grocers in the country or sharing our insights with the global corporate team. In addition, you will work alongside a diverse team at the pharmacy from pharmacists, technicians and retail experts to research specialists as well as with all the functions at HQ.
You will have real responsibility
We do not have rigid processes and many corporate layers, so you will get real responsibility, real autonomy and real accountability from day one.
You will learn from the best & develop fast
Within the pharmacy and across the wider CS&I team we have recruited high flyers with a unique blend of styles and experience from world-class companies such as L’Oreal, RB, P&G, Tesco & Lloyds Pharmacy and have created a dynamic and challenging environment in which to learn & develop. We will define a bespoke training plan for each individual, sponsoring people to attend external training where necessary.
